Okay PS3 and X360 owners, say goodbye to Dragon Age 3. Not that you really cared about, especially after the atrocious second part of this series, but let’s be honest here; most of you wanted to see whether BioWare would bring the series back to its former glory. Well, if you’re still interested in it, you’ll have to wait until 2014 and purchase one of the next-generation consoles. Or stick with the PC.
As IGN reported, Dragon Age 3: Inquisition has been delayed to 2014 and is now planned for next-generation platforms only. The information comes from the LinkedIn resume of EA Shanghai level designer Tao Gu.

“scope of the DAIII has been chaged [sic]. Targets next gen platform [sic] and will be postpone [sic] to 2014.”

Dragon Age 3: Inquisition is built on DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine and will be one of the first next-generation games that will be powered by it.
Back in November, the first screenshot from the game was unveiled during BioWare’s Art and Animation Director, Neil Thompson, talk at the Bradford Animation Festival.
In other words, it’s too early to speak about DAIII, so forget about it. At least for now.
